This character renovation overlooking the Waikato river was the category winner in the Renovation $750k - $1.5m category in the Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards 2022. It was also awarded gold.

“We purchased a townhouse at Lakewood in Cambridge off the plans in 2021 having no prior experience of the building company Engas.
As we were in the South Island, our contact throughout the build was mainly by e-mail and phone calls with Rosalie, who was kind, patient with our questions and nothing was too much trouble for her. It was a real bonus to be sent regular progress reports and photos of the build, including wonderful aerial images (taken by Steve, the company's project manager / pilot!)
A walk through was done on Zoom with Steve, who spent time ensuring we got what we wanted and were happy with progress. The build was completed in a timely manner, despite the materials and labour shortages that affected many due to the pandemic. This to us, spoke volumes of the breadth of experience and contacts the company has within the industry.
Having settled into life in Cambridge, we are extremely happy with the choice we have made. The development location beside the lake is quiet, yet within short walking distance of all amenities. The townhouse is a top quality build in every respect and the ongoing support of Steve, Shane the Construction Manager and all on site with any questions we may have is always met with a smile.
We rate Engas very highly and have no qualms at all in recommending a build or project with the team.”
